Moving abroad to have a peaceful mind but dealing with panic attacks instead. Because also in Portugal the whole world enters through Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, notifications,… And they are unstoppable. Fuck me, I’m screwed.
Money, cash, capital, sterling, dinheiro. Davy & I we are rich. How come? Not because we have enough of it on our bank account but because we don’t take it as a starting point, we rather let it flow.
September! And I am just about to shake off the heavy rains from spring! Sorry for not posting sooner but this had two reasons: integration & having the feeling of running out of time.
Everything grows abundantly on our terrain. Or at least, we hope, by next year. And it has to do the trick because I want to live self-sufficient, without all entertainment & distraction society offers so gracefully. What really keeps the world going? Our nature & oceans.
I love to read but that doesn’t mean that I am a good reviewer, tss. I seldom read reviews. Just read the book because it provides the Black Struggle for freedom with context. In the end, the author leaves you with this: Is the Afro-American finally free?
We are renovating. And anyone who (re)built a house will know that it entails a whole catalogue of discussions. We are mentally & physically exhausted but this Portuguese project needs to triumph. So does our marriage.
